Mane Corrections by Cheri-Bomb Mane Corrections by Cheri-Bomb
I gotta stop buying ponies; apparently everyone buys them for me!
Another friend got me a pack of ponies for Christmas (Twilight, Rarity, Dash and Pinkie), not knowing I already had the Mane 6.
So I decided to correct their manes instead! I'm not super picky on details, so I don't care about cutie marks missing on one side, or Rarity missing her lower eyelashes, or Twilight's coat being slightly off. All I wanted was for Rainbow to actually have a rainbow mane and stuff like that!

Rainbow Dash; I painted her mane and tail to actually be rainbow coloured
Rarity; Sculpted the big curl in her mane and redid her tail/mane colour
Twilight Sparkle; Added her darker purple stripe in her mane/tail
Pinkie Pie; Not pictured because I didn't really need to change anything!

I admit I didn't try hard on Rarity :saddummy: I could've cut off that lower part of the mane so that her curl was higher, but I reeeeeeally couldn't be bothered; these aren't "serious" customs, I just wanted to make them different from my other blind bags.

Oh I love that shade of purple on Rarity's mane, I've been wanting to do customs on the cutie mark crusaders but I can't find the right paint. Would it be okay if I inquired what paint you used?

Thanks, and sure! :aww:

The paint is acrylic paint, I'm not sure what specific brands but I just use whatever brands I can find, so I think as long as it's acrylic, it'll be fine ^^ Acrylic paint is thick so it covers better, though I have heard of people pulling off customs with oil paints before!

Also thank you very much for the watch! I always return the favour, and since you're planning to make pony customs, I'm even more interested :D I can't wait to see them!
