A while back, my best friend got me a Rarity brushable for my birthday, but I already had one! So instead of just restyling her mane again, I decided to have a go at making my favourite of Rarity's various outfits; her "artsy" one from Sweet & Elite.

Now, I myself have hair that comes down to just an inch above my butt. I also have the styling skills of a blind ape. Neither of those make for easy hair styling.

But it's still easier than styling this pony hair. I tried every tip I could scrounge off the internet, but it just wouldn't work exactly how I wanted it. Maybe I just got a bum pony :stare:

So anyway, I got it straight enough, and sorta wavy, but it's not 100% show accurate. Cartoon hair is very hard to recreate for real, especially Rarity's. I just hope I can do her justice, she's so beautiful :love:

So sweet!! Did you try dampening the hair and leaving braids in overnight? when you take them out it should be wavy. She looks great like this too though. (Tempted to get another Rarity now....)

I never actually thought of using braids! I tried wetting the mane and adding straws, but it didn't work very well :shrug:

You totally should! You can never have enough Raritys (Rarities? O.o) x3

Welcome ^_^ That's exactly how I felt when fixing my own ponies' hair. They're not as accurate as some of the ones I've seen, but they're cute anyway. I'm really pleased with them :)
